The presentation will be an hour long presentation on new case law, probate code changes and judicial form changes that occured within the last year.
Brief Bio:
Judge Lesley Holland is the presiding judge over the San Joaquin County Superior Court. He has been a judge since 1996. Prior to his court duties, he was an attorney at Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry and Christopherson from 1986 to 1996.
Jayne Chong-Soon Lee is a San Joaquin County Court Commissioner. She served as the Supervising Probate Attorney and Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court of California, San Joaquin County from 2015 to 2018. She graduated from Yale University, UCLA School of Law, and Stanford Law School. She has taught at Stanford Law School, published law review articles currently used in first year law school classes, and was an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law. She has practiced tax both in the United States and in the People’s Republic of China. She lectures for CEB, the California State Bar, and various law schools. She serves on the Probate and Mental Health Education Committee for the Center for Judicial Education and Research, training probate judges and staff in California. She was a member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar. Currently, she serves on the Probate and Mental Health Advisory Committee of the Judicial Council.
